Re: zombie survival quiz

Sorry, chicot - One of the reasons for my high score (77%) was taking care of No. 1 and not having to go around the blue marble saving other people who could not or would not take care of themselves.  Good luck and Godspeed.

After the zombies show up, looks like Thundersnow and I will be the only ones left on NPB.  For some reason, that fact scares me more than getting eaten by the reanimated dead.

Re: zombie survival quiz

Thing is, I know how valuable a trained citizenry is and over the past few years, I have been training a number of individuals, some have even posted here.  They are armed and prepared as I am not waiting until the apocalypse to develop my own private army.  They are already out there.

Re: zombie survival quiz

That same quiz site has "How many 5 year olds could you take on in a fight."

I can take 22, apparently.

Oh, and I have a 68% zombie survival chance.

Re: zombie survival quiz

73% here.  And evidently I could beat up 26 five year olds.

Re: zombie survival quiz

I am noticing a trend.  If we increase our sample size, I wonder what the relationship of zombie survival % is to that of the number of five year olds we could beat up.  I could take on 28, according to the scientific survey.

Re: zombie survival quiz

I've never had the opportunity to test either in real life.  I only know a few five year olds - and parents are such milquetoasts these days.

Duke, take out an ad in the local elementary schools' newspapers and PTA announcements.

Re: zombie survival quiz

I can take on 28 5 year olds but my zombie survival score was 52%. Lack of firearms/firearm experience and being located in NYC were my downfalls I think.

Re: zombie survival quiz

You are throwing off the curve.

Get some firearms training.  Even if you can't possess them in NYC, there will be plenty of opportunities for pick up items in the event of civil unrest.

I'm en route to such training. Guy I've been dealing w/ at work has offered to bring me along and/or help me find a range out on LI I can go to. By time the zombies arrive I'll have the proper training.

At least, according to that same site, if i were to die today my corpse would be worth $4225. Not bad considering the booze test deemed me an alcoholic
