well, i guess complicated is a tad of an overstatement...but in my life I have met exactly two people who have pronounced it correctly...those two being my parents (of course in hindsight we're online so id doesn't matter, but i prefer Dash anyway.)

I picked up the normal family name...same first name as my father and his father...both of whom go by their middle name...so I also followed them.
My father hates his first name...funny, if he hates it..then why'd he bother sharing it with me?? To torture me?? Oh well...life drags on...
