Weird post order

That was kinda weird, I made a post and it got inserted about 3 posts above the last one. Maybe because I'm central time and it tucked it in in the right chronological order? Ahead east coasters that had allready posted?

Jen and Baomo where are you two located?

Re: Weird post order

Mine is -5, central time, I replied to a post and my reply ended up 2 posts ahead of the one I replied to. Weird.

Re: Weird post order

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but post times are made by the server itself.  It should not matter what a user has his/her local time set to.

We might see some interesting possibilities this Saturday night at the end of daylight savings though.  If someone posts at like 2:55am Sunday morning (server time) and then someone replies ten minutes later, the response would be timestamped as 2:05am.  Right?
